Dr Brian Poschelk

Dr Brian Poschelk graduated from the University of Queensland in 1979 with a Bachelor of Dental Science and began work for Queensland Health on the dental train from Townsville to Mount Isa. In later years, he spent time flying to service the Gulf and Peninsular communities. In 1983, in partnership with his brother Kevin, Brian had practices in Collinsville, Bowen and Cannonvale. Brian's entire dental service has been in rural North Queensland.
Brian maintains continued self-education, especially in orthodontics. In 2006, Brian completed a two-year course of Progressive Orthodontic Seminars (POS) and also Invisalign. In 2007, Brian was awarded a Fellowship from the International College of Continuing Dental Education in Singapore (FICCDE).
Brian is a family man and is supported in the practice by his wife, Mary-Anne (Brian Poschelk Dental practice manager) and one of his three children, Alice, as a fellow dentist. When he is not tending to his patients, Brian may be fishing, mustering his cows or barracking for the NQ Cowboys.
