Dr Brian Poschelk graduated from the University of Queensland in 1979 with a Bachelor of Dental Science and began work for Queensland Health on the dental train from Townsville to Mount Isa. In later years, he spent time flying to service the Gulf and Peninsular communities. In 1983, in partnership with his brother Kevin, Brian had practices in Collinsville, Bowen and Cannonvale. Brian's entire dental service has been in rural North Queensland.
Brian maintains continued self-education, especially in orthodontics. In 2006, Brian completed a two-year course of Progressive Orthodontic Seminars (POS) and also Invisalign. In 2007, Brian was awarded a Fellowship from the International College of Continuing Dental Education in Singapore (FICCDE).
Brian is a family man and is supported in the practice by his wife, Mary-Anne (Brian Poschelk Dental practice manager) and one of his three children, Alice, as a fellow dentist. When he is not tending to his patients, Brian may be fishing, mustering his cows or barracking for the NQ Cowboys.
Dr Alice Harriott

Dr Alice Harriott graduated with First-Class Honours from the University of Queensland Dental School in 2009. Alice works in general adult and children's dentistry and is particularly dedicated to improving the dental health of youth and children in the Whitsundays. Alice regularly visits local kindergartens and schools in Bowen and the Whitsundays to teach the importance of dental health to children. Alice is also renowned for her approachable and nurturing chairside manner.
Alice is married and has three young daughters. She is a keen and excellent cook (annually exhibiting her baking in the Proserpine Show), loves reading and cherishes family life.
